I care passionately about you living your life and relationships fully. I believe that meaningful change is possible now in the short term as well as for the long term. I care about us working together to get to the heart and soul of what matters to you to create lasting change in your whole life. My different trainings and years of experience give me a rich pool of personal, as well as professional, resources to draw from in order to be alongside you as you create the changes you want.

I have the following professional accreditation:

  • Registration with the UK Council for Psychotherapy and adherence to the UKCP’s Code of Ethics

  • Membership of the Forum for Independent Psychotherapists (FIP)

  • Associate Member and Approved Supervisor of Play Therapy UK ((PTUK)

  • Accreditation as a Supervisor, since 2003 and Training Therapist, since 2002 through The Bowlby Centre.

  • Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), see www.soarcoaching.org.

  • Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation.

    • My background is in education and mental health work.

    I have training and experience in psychotherapy, play therapy, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprogramming) including: a Certificate in Play Therapy, the equivalent to masters in psychotherapy, a Practitioner in NLP and a Practitioner in EMDR.

    I have been working with adults in private practice since 1997 to create the change they want in their lives and relationships. My work has been both short and long term depending on the need of the individual.

    In 1998 I established and ran a very successful counselling service, Special Time, for children and their caregivers at Parkhill Junior School in Redbridge. I also ran a highly regarded counselling and coaching service at Chigwell Independent School in Essex.

    I currently have a private practice in psychotherapy for those in Leeds and North West Yorkshire. I work as an attachment-based psychotherapist with adults. I work as a psychotherapist and life coach at William Henry Smith School in Brighouse. I also work as a supervisor and training therapist. I offer consultancy in private practice and in schools, working with adults thinking about troubled or troubling children or classes of children.
